Founded in 2025, Quilteria is a family-owned and operated quilt shop created by Marina and Iurii Molchanov. Originally from Ukraine and now based in Des Moines, Washington, we built Quilteria from a shared passion for beautiful textiles and the timeless art of quilting.
At Quilteria, we believe quilting is more than a craft — it’s a way to connect generations, tell stories, and create something lasting with your own hands. Every bolt of fabric and every collection in our shop is thoughtfully chosen to inspire creativity, whether you’re just starting your first quilt or continuing a lifelong tradition.
Our family is at the heart of everything we do. As parents to our two daughters, Sophia (3) and Emily (2), we’re constantly reminded of the warmth and love that handmade pieces bring into a home. That same feeling is what we hope you’ll find every time you visit Quilteria.
